End-of-Life Care for Animals and the People Who Love Them

Caring for a beloved companion animal through their senior years and the end-of-life can be one of the most overwhelming phases of animal guardianship. But you don’t have to do it alone. As a companion animal end-of-life doula, I can support you as you plan for, care for, and grieve your companion animal.

Doulas offer non-medical emotional and informational support. Together, we can gather the resources and support you need to feel empowered in caring for the unique needs of your animal. I can also companion you on your grief journey, providing a comforting presence and compassionate space for your emotions through anticipatory grief as well as bereavement.

My offerings include Advance Directive Planning, End-of-Life & Grief Support, and Euthanasia Attendance & Support.

In addition to end-of-life doula services, I also work with people experiencing other forms of pet loss, including: rehoming an animal, surrendering an animal to a shelter or rescue, grieving a lost or stolen animal, saying goodbye to foster animals, and retiring a service animal. I can also provide support during other major health events that your animal may experience, such as surgery and recovery, or adjusting to a new disability or chronic illness diagnosis.

If you would like to schedule a session with me, you can do so here.

Disclaimer: Companion animal end-of-life doulas offer non-medical emotional and informational support. I am not a veterinarian, therapist, or emergency service. If you or your animal are experiencing an emergency, please reach out to appropriate emergency services.
